The Ultimate List of Self Care Ideas for Creative Entrepreneurs
When I first started my own business, I did not know how important self-care was as a creative entrepreneur. While I’d worked through years of therapy to help me thrive with chronic anxiety, I hadn’t taken the time to apply it to my professional life. When I finally did, it really changed how I felt in my business.
It’s often not until a year or two into their creative business that entrepreneurs begin to realize just how important self-care is… it makes sense. In the beginning, our businesses are fresh and exciting and new, and we want to spend long hours at the computer and late nights drafting up our business plans. Then, burnout hits and self-care becomes a necessity. Now maybe that’s not the case for you! Perhaps you’re a master at balancing your business with self-care… but something tells me that there’s at least a part of you who feels you need more self-care in your life and space for it in your creative business because you are here reading this post.
I’m a big believer in self-care – it’s a necessity. It’s what allows us to really replenish and restore our mindset… after all, your mindset is your most essential tool as a business owner! Self-care is not vain or selfish. It’s not something as simple as taking a bubble bath (though bubble baths are excellent, of course) – it’s a lifelong act and gift to give to yourself.
I’m a wealth of ideas for self-care from my own experience and my work with my mindset coaching clients, and I’m here to share! Think of this as your ultimate list of self-care ideas for when you need them!

Paint your nails or have an at-home-spa night (one of my personal favourites is to give myself a natural coconut oil hair mask)
