Though human design is an incredible tool that can support anyone curious about themselves at a soul level, embracing your design is an absolute game changer as a creative entrepreneur. In this blog post, I break down all the beautiful ways that embracing who you are can support your creative business.
1. It Shows You How You’re Designed to Energetically Function = More EASE and Creative FLOW
The first foundational element of your human design is your type. Your type is like your energetic aura and is defined by the particular balance of defined and undefined energetic centres, gates, and channels you have.
The types are:
- Manifestor
- Generator
- Manifesting Generator
- Projector
- Reflector
Your type can teach you how to structure your business and your individual work days and weeks to best honour your unique energy. The more you embrace your design, the more you begin to understand how you function energetically and how you can work with yourself rather than against yourself.
We aren’t all designed to work long hours days and actually don’t have to when we embrace and stay true to the gifts that are inherent in our design.
2. You know EXACTLY How to Make Aligned Decisions
We’re all designed to make decisions in different ways, which is illuminated in our AUTHORITY in Human Design. Some of us need time to give ourselves time and space to feel the full emotional wave of a decision before making it (solar plexus/ emotional authority). Others best function by tapping into their gut’s yes/no response to receive an instant response (sacral authority). No way is better or worse, but when we aren’t embracing our authority, we struggle to make aligned decisions about our lives and business.
Tapping into your authority ensures you never really make a ‘wrong’ decision in the greater ‘plan’ of your life.
The 7 authorities are:
- Emotional
- Sacral
- Splenic
- Ego/ Heart
- Self
- Mental/ Environmental
- Lunar
3. You Feel Less Temptation to Compare Yourself to Others
Embracing your design and celebrating who you are allows you to understand how unique we are. We all have different human design types, strategies, authorities, and profiles. Even if you are the same type in human design as someone else, you will still have many other elements of your chart that will vary. We are not designed to function in the same way. You begin to realize that comparing yourself to someone else is like comparing apples to oranges. You are completely different.
4. You Know How to Share Your Message to Be Heard
Through a study of your human design chart, you learn the best ways you specifically learn and how you are designed to share your message with the world. When you embrace these elements, you again will feel less resistance and more flow in your relationships and business life.
5. You Have an Increased Sense of Confidence and CLARITY
Human Design also allows you to see yourself clearer than you have before, so you have increased confidence in sharing your message boldly with the world. Your chart shows you the unique set of gifts you were born with, the greater role you’re designed to play in the world, and more.
6. You Create More Authentic, Aligned Business Strategies
Strategies that are actually designed for you and your unique design, rather than copying or emulating the cookie-cutter strategies that have never served you in the past.
For example, I didn’t realize it, but I was continually burning myself out of my business because I was using strategies that did not align with the physical energy I actually have as a projector. When I began to realize that everything is just A way and not THE way, and instead leaned into my own superpowers of my own design, everything got so much easier!
7. You Understand Your Greater Role in the Collective
…and embrace that role in all you do. You start to see the bigger role and greater purpose you have for this life and can remove yourself from the incessant worrying and the small worries or pieces of self-doubt.
8. You Create Deeper Connections with Clients
Relationships that are more than just skin deep – you begin to really understand and see that we are all designed to function differently, and you celebrate the uniqueness more and more in each person you work with, which makes THEM feel so seen and heard.
9. You’re Shown Your Soul’s Purpose
Through your incarnation cross, your chart can tell you your soul’s greater purpose for this lifetime. If you’ve ever asked yourself what is my soul’s purpose?, this element of your chart will make you swoon!
10. You Identify Areas You Most Need Support
I was recently talking to a really powerful manifestor. This business owner was already deeply embodying her big picture, visionary role as a CEO, but one area I recommended she explore was how deeply she was allowing herself to be supported. For example, a manifestor isn’t necessarily designed to follow through on the little tasks of completing a vision – they’re meant to really get the ball rolling, and will thrive when they have generators or manifesting generators on their team with alot of energy reserves to support them with the action-taking tasks.

As a 4/6 Emotional Projector, I was continually burning myself out from running my own business until I fully embraced my human design and experienced:
