Each year, I lead a vision board workshop. This is one of my FAVOURITE times of the year because it allows us to get creative and create a work of art that emphasizes the visions and desires we’re working to attract into our lives. This post dives into how to use a vision board for manifestation.

A vision board is a collection of imagery, messaging and words that you intentionally collect together to inspire and envision your future. Either physically done as a poster board, or digitally on Pinterest, a vision board is something beautiful to create to align yourself with your goals before a new season – like a new year!

Begin by flipping through some lifestyle magazines, exploring Pinterest, and beginning to gather imagery, words and quotes that inspire you. You don’t necessarily have to know WHY you like these images yet – simply allow yourself to get curious and play.
From there, your creativity can guide you in how you wish to group these images, thematically.
There’s no right or wrong way or necessary items to include on your vision board… it’s YOUR vision and dreams for YOUR life!

You can also include some of your favourite motivational affirmations and mantras to encourage you along the way.
Once you’ve created your vision board, it’s time to begin using it! The best way to use your vision board is by putting it somewhere you’ll see it each day. Mine is in the meditation corner of my office. Other great spots for your vision board could be:
Wherever you choose to put it, it should be somewhere that you simply cannot avoid looking at it and the beautiful things you wish to attract in your life.
This is the key to making your vision board work for you: put it somewhere you will EFFORTLESSLY see it time and again.
Whenever you view your vision board, see it as a moment to enter into a meditative state, and allow yourself to VISUALIZE these desires already in your life – they ALREADY exist. Thank the universe for this and all else that’s en route for you.

Don’t feel that you necessarily need to put a date on these goals, or limit them to a certain year. The new year is simply a nice time to revisit your visions and goals.
Also, allow yourself to change and add to your vision board as you grow because our desires and goals NATURALLY grow and evolve!
Because THAT’S what you want to call in on your vision board: ALIGNMENT + FULFILLMENT!
